However, due to our dedication to equitably distribute playing-time, we need an edge to remain competitive. Our players' commitment to each other is our edge!!!

DURING the SPRING of 2019, four former Admirals 17u players--Dylan Champagne, Sam Czel, Charlie Huegi, and Dave Matthews-- achieved memorable college seasons.
Charlie Huegi Is Named Outstanding Player of the 2019 New England D3 Super Regional
A pair of former Admirals--UMass-Boston senior shortstop Charlie Huegi and New England College freshman starting pitcher Dylan Champagne--faced each other in the D3 N.E. Super-regional Championship Final game in Boston on Sat. May 25th.
Huegi's UMB team triumphed by a score of 6-2, advancing to the NCAA D3 World Series for the third time this decade. Champagne, a hard-throwing lefthander, pounded the zone with 71% strikes in 5 innings of work for NEC.
During the broadcast of the game, the announcer noted:
"Huegi has doubled in 9 of his last 10 games....We've nicknamed him 'Charlie May' here in the press box because of how well he has hit, not just this May, but each of the last 3 years...starting every NCAA tournament game for the past 4 years."
Delivering a pair of hits and a sac fly, Charlie extended his hitting streak to 12 consecutive games, clinching his selection as Outstanding Player of the 2019 UMass-Boston Super Regional. Charlie played 4 summers for the Admirals.

Admiral alumnus Sam Czel, a junior outfielder at Keene State, led his team in slugging pct. and OPS during the 2019 campaign. Sam--who played a summer of 17u and two summers of 19u for Post 100--banged out 4 doubles, 2 triples, and 5 home runs for the Owls.

Central Ct. State University's Dave Matthews Is Named To the Faryetteville (AR) Regional All-Tournament Team
Dave earned the honor for his performance against California and TCU, racking up five hits (including a home run) and five RBI against the pair of perennial bluechip D1 programs.
During the regular season, Dave was 2nd Team All-Conference for his major role in leading CCSU to the Northeast Conference title.
The left-handed slugger ranked either first or second in all major hitting categories for the Blue Devils, leading the team in RBI, home runs, and runs scored. Back in the day, Dave was an RBI machine during the summers that he played 17u and 19u for the Admirals.
