Welcome to the Home of Guilford American Legion Baseball

American Legion Baseball is the premier baseball program for players 13-19 years of age in Connecticut. Prep Legion is for players 13-15 years of age, Junior Legion is for players 15-17 years of age and Senior Legion is for players 17-19 years of age.

Guilford Post 48 is entering its eleventh year as a senior program and its ninth with the juniors. The senior team has qualified  for the state tournament seven times  while winning one zone championship (2007) and placing second twice (2008, 2010) .

The junior team, in its second season (2008) won the zone championship and reached the semi-finals in the state championships and in 2012 had qualified for the state tournament for its fifth time.

Guilford American Legion graduates have gone on to play at both the collegite and professional levels and its players are routinely scouted during the regular season, as well as at state, regional and national tournaments. Currently there are sixteen former Post 48 players on Division I, II and III college rosters.

The states highly publicized Futures Game is played by legion players with an eye toward a collegite or professional career. This game is well attended by local, regional and national college recruiters and coaches as well as scouts from many professional organizations.
