Registration for 19U Thunderbird Baseball Summer 2025
Ridgefield Post 78 American Legion is pleased to again sponsor 19U Thunderbird Baseball for the Summer 2025 season. The team will play both in CT American Legion Baseball and the GHVBL High School / Legion division. Legion games will be primarily on weekends and GHVBL games dispersed on weekdays. The season will begin on June 15, 2025. The Thunderbird Head Coach is George Bielizna. He will be assisted by Scott Droukas.
Program highlights:
Cost: $1200 (includes all fees).
A $600 depsosit is due by May 1.

Ridgefield Post 78 Thunderbirds Baseball 2024
Everett Ray Seymour Post 78 is the sponsor of two American Legion Baseball teams competing at the 19u and 17u levels and offers competive high school and college baseball every summer.
Ridgefield competes in Zone 4, playing regular season games over the course of June and July against opponents from Fairfield County. State playoffs follow, with regional and national tournament being held for the 19u level. In 2024, the 17u team will play a hybrid schedule which will include tournament play in the Northeast to offer increased exposure to college coaches.
Connecticut American Legion Baseball sponsors Zone All Star Games, while also offering PBR zone specific and statewide college showcase for those selected to participate.
