19U Stars & Stripes Rules
1) Each team will be guaranteed to play at least 2 games - with the first 2 games to count as zone games
2) If any of these first 2 games get rained out, or otherwise not played, they must be resheduled and played prior to the end of the regular season - just like all other regular season games.
3) If some, or all,of these Phase 1 games are not played as scheduled between June 27th - 29th, they will be treated as they would at the end of our 19U State Tournament. If some games are played and the most successful teams have the same record, the ighest seeded team at each site would move on. If the top teams have different records (for example one team at 2-0 and another at 1-0, the 2-0 team would move on - be delared the site winner. Note, if not games ar all are played, the whole tourament would be cancelled with no winner.
4) If one or more teams are unable to play the Phase 1 games as scheduled, the Tournament Director, with the agreement of the State Director, has the ability to leave the schedule unchanged which would result in bye(s) or make changes to the schedule.
5) Please note that because we will have less than 8 teams in each of the 4 sites, one of the losing teams from 1 or 2 of the sites may have to move to a different site for their 2nd game - which could be on Saturday or Sunday depending upon their site.
6) Programs who had a 19U team in 2024 will be seeded based upon that winning percentage. Programs that did not have a 19U in 2024 but had a 17U will be seeded based upon 50% of their 17U winning position. If they did not have either a 19U or 17U in 2024, but instead had a 19U team in 2023, we would seed them based upon 50% of this winning %. Any program that did not have either a 19U or 17U team in 2024 or 2023 will default to a .333 winning %.
7) If possible, ties will be brocken by head to head, if not will be by Random Numbers given to all teams.
8) The winning team from each of the 4 sites must play their Final 4 games (top ranked team vs. 4th ranked, and the 2nd vs. 3rd) by mutual agreement by July 10th. The Championship Game must be played by mutual agreement by July 19th.
9) The eventual Stars & Stripes Championship Team will automatically qualify for the State Tournament and be seeded no lower than right after the gour 1st place zone teams.
